Eli joined the SPE team as Conservation Technician in October, 2025. Originally from the East Coast, she began her conservation career working to restore Atlantic salmon habitat on Prince Edward Island. Drawn to the unique ecosystems of British Columbia, Eli moved across Canada in 2021 to study at BCIT, where she received a BSc in Ecological Restoration and a Diploma in Forest & Natural Areas Management. Since arriving in BC, Eli has worked for non-profits and governmental organizations on various conservation initiatives across the province, focusing on endangered species such as Whitebark pine and Westslope cutthroat trout. Eli is passionate about process-based restoration and adaptive management. She is excited to dedicate her time and attention to the ecosystems of Stanley Park, monitoring the health of these sensitive communities as they respond to restoration efforts and the impacts of climate change.
