Marisa is excited to continue her journey with Stanley Park Ecology as Conservation Projects Manager after having worked as the Conservation Technician for 3.5 years. She has extensive experience conducting ecological surveys, planning & leading stewardship activities, and engaging in public education/outreach.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Victoria, with a concentration in Marine Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Ecological Restoration from BCIT. She is passionate about conservation, restoration, and connecting with volunteers, and is interested in the natural intersection between decolonization and conservation.

In her free time, Marisa enjoys reading, music, crafting, spending time with friends & family, and exercise.
