Choose From our Fall Programs
- Forest Fundamentals: Experience the temperate rainforest through sensory journeys and interactive games with “Nature Detectives” for Pre K to Grade 3, or “Forest Fundamentals” for Grades 4 to 7.
- Beautiful Bats: In this field trip, kids from Pre-K to Grade 3 can investigate the life and adaptations of bats through habitat explorations and engaging props, learning how bats live, hunt, and echolocate.
- Winter Birding: This program runs through fall and winter for Grades 1 through 7, bringing binoculars to hand for spotting local bird species and their clever survival strategies. Many migrating species pass through the Lost Lagoon during these seasons, so there’s always something new to see!
- Urban Ecosystems: For high school students, “Urban Ecosystems” explores the interconnections between urban life and nature. Together, we evaluate different types of habitats found where Stanley Park meets Vancouver’s West End.
Each experience is designed to spark curiosity and deepen ecological understanding in Stanley Park’s unique habitats. Our field trips are open to book throughout the school year, we hope to see you soon!
