IN-PERSON PROGRAM
As you wander the trails of our coastal forests, do you recognize the plants around you? Are you familiar with the trees towering above, and the ferns and mosses at your feet? Join us for a stroll through the forest to get to know the common trees and forest plants of our region and appreciate the “green” that we celebrate this Earth Day!
Please note: Some ticket spots are available to sign up ahead of time while others are reserved for drop-ins. On the event day, please check in 15 minutes before the program start time to confirm your spot if you registered ahead of time, and the remaining spaces will be released to those waiting to join.
This is part of our Earth Day celebration! Check out our event page to see all of the activities offered on this day. Feel free to join us at 11:00 am for our Stanley Park Earth Day event opening and and land welcome, with Talaysay Campo of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Shíshálh (Sechelt) Nations, and stay to check out our outreach tables, raffle prize game, children’s activities, and more.

The land on which we gather is the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh), and Tsleil-Waututh (səlilwətaɬ) Peoples. Their stewardship and respect for this land has carried forward for thousands of years long before settlers named it “Stanley Park”.
