Paint the Forest: Trees and Berries Watercolour Workshop

Calling all forest-lovers, artists, the craft-curious, and anyone else who wants to spend a Saturday morning painting in Stanley Park! Join us for a bright, beginner-friendly, and nature-themed watercolour workshop as we say goodbye to summer and welcome the autumn season. Our instructor, Jenna Leith, will introduce several basic watercolour techniques, guiding you as you bring tree canopies and forest berries to life on paper.

No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a love for creativity. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with finished paintings and skills to continue your watercolour journey at home.

We’ll even take a look at a real fossil to compare one prehistoric tree to its living descendant! Come along for a light-hearted journey across time and the evolutionary track of plants such as the dawn redwood, magnolias, ferns, and ginkgo trees.
