Mushroom Stamp-Making: Linocut Workshop

Join our stamp-making workshop to create your own mushroom stamp using the linocut technique! If you’ve ever wanted to try print-making, this is a beginner-friendly technique that can transform a simple design into a beautiful piece of art. As the the autumn rains begin to bring out the fungal friends, it’s the perfect season to celebrate the beauty and diversity of mushrooms through art! Learn how to carve a design into a rubber carving block to create your stamp, then ink the stamp and print it onto paper to take home! Some techniques use actual linoleum blocks, but this workshop will use rubber carving blocks.

No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a love for creativity (and mushrooms!). All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with multiple prints of your design, plus your carved stamp to take home.

Note: This program is intended for adults and ages 14+ due to the tools and materials used (youth under 19 must have a guardian registered with them).
