Welcome senior participants! Join us for a slow-paced stroll around Lost Lagoon to learn about the migrating birds birds and other wildlife in the nearby waters, trees, and shores during the autumn season. We’ll turn our attention to the colourful ducks and chirping songbirds, plus look out for recent beaver activity and whatever else we can find along the way.

Thousands of birds are migrating here from their summer breeding grounds to take advantage of relatively mild winter conditions and nutrient-rich shorelines. Discover the incredible variety and lives of local birds in our monthly birding program, Birds of a Feather! This month, join a birder for a casual fall birding walk as we appreciate the feathered friends around us during this season of transition, especially ducks and other winter residents returning to Stanley Park. No experience required, just bring your curiosity and take flight! Participants can borrow binoculars.
