Stanley Park’s Past, Our Climate Future: Free Collaborative Artmaking Workshop

Join Founder of Creating Climate Resilience Sabrina Guzman Skotnitsky for an evening zine workshop in the Stanley Park Nature House on Lost Lagoon. Through collaborative artmaking with community members using writing, drawing, collage, pastels, and other art media, you’ll delve into Stanley Park’s past to explore lessons and dreams for its future. All artmaking supplies will be provided, and participants will be able to take home their creation—one of the four page collaborative zines from their group.

Glass Fusion Workshop [FULL]

Try your hand at the art of fused glass! In this beginner-friendly art workshop led by local glass artist Debbie Hungle, participants will get to create a nature-inspired glass design using cut pieces of glass and mosaic techniques. Choose from a wide selection of bases — from birds to insects to plants and more — to create your ornament, coaster, paperweight, or glass display piece.
