Mason Bee House Workshop

Come explore the fascinating world of mason bees and learn how to properly care for them! These powerful pollinators are native to our area and are a fantastic way to learn more about bees. Led by Kristen Penhall, participants of this workshop will learn about the bee lifecycle as well as proper management of mason bee houses, plus take a closer look at specimens with a hand lens or microscope. After our time together, you will leave with your very own mason bee house to take home!

Come along for this buzzing outing to learn about their life cycles and ecology — from large fuzzy bumble bees to charming leaf-cutter bees to tiny bees less than 5 mm long!
