In the hot summer season, nearby ecosystems are buzzing with insect activity! The Beaver Lake wetland is alive with charismatic bumblebees visiting flowering plants on the trail edge and colourful dragonflies hunting above the water (as one of the most successful predators in the animal kingdom!). Join us for a nature walk to appreciate the diversity and ecology of dragonflies, damselflies, bumblebees, and other bugs of Beaver Lake.
