Ellyana Baumet – Student Director

Ellyana Baumet is a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology & Law and Society) and Master of Management Dual Degree Student at the UBC Sauder School of Business, where she serves as the President of the Student Association. She also works as a Business Development Specialist at Stingray Security, a cybersecurity company.

Combining a background in business, social impact, and leadership, she believes in the power of collaboration and strategic planning to create impact where it matters most. Born and raised in Vancouver’s North Shore, Ellyana’s first memory in Stanley Park was at Lumberman’s Arch at the age of 4, her first year as a Fundraiser and Ambassador for the World Partnership Walk, focused on alleviating global poverty. Today, she serves as the Vancouver City Co-Director of Marketing and Communications for the Walk, leading city-wide engagement.

She continues to give back to her community through various volunteer work as a 3rd Dan Black Belt Lead Instructor at UBC Taekwondo, and is involved in leadership for the entrepreneurship ecosystem as an Ambassador for YELL Canada, and Email Marketing Manager for Vancouver Startup Week.

Passionate about sustainability and the outdoors, Ellyana enjoys exploring new places and staying active, and is committed to advancing ecological impact in Stanley Park for future generations.
