David is a science communicator and environmental educator with a passion for science, nature, the climate, and sustainability. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a certificate in Sustainability Leadership, he works at the intersection of education and sustainability. His goal with SPE is to empower others, both youth and the community at large, to connect with the land, work toward climate action, and take part in environmental conservation and stewardship.

His interests include environmental chemistry, ecology, the circular economy, green cities, and urban green spaces. For fun, David enjoys spending time outside, hiking, longboarding, reading, playing the drums, and listening to music.
