SUMMARY:Squirrels in Stanley Park (Online)
DESCRIPTION:Get Tickets\n Problems using the ticket form below? You can also get tickets here. \n SPES uses the Zeffy platform to process payments\, so your entire purchase goes to us. If you’d like to help Zeffy keep running its services\, you can choose to tip them. If you don’t want to\, choose “Other” in the drop-down menu and then enter $0. \n\n\n\n \n \n \n\n\n\n\nONLINE PROGRAM   \n\n\n\nSquirrels scurry all over Stanley Park; they forage on the forest floor\, run up trees with ease\, and even rummage through the occasional waste bin. Despite how common the sight of a squirrel is\, they are remarkable rodents with amazing adaptations. Join SPES Educator Anna Bondartchouk for a webinar all about the three species of squirrel here in the Park. Find out how an invasive squirrel species came to thrive in BC\, the many tricks of squirrel tails\, and how their famous forgetfulness helps our coastal forest grow!  \n\n\n\nThis is a pre-recorded program that will be available for the month of November for viewing.   \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n*Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – you choose what you pay!  Your contributions help us bring you more online programs like this one!   \n\n\n\n    \n\n\n\n**After registering\, you will receive an email containing a link to an unlisted YouTube link that will be accessible for all of November 2022. You can access the recording as many times as you like during this time. Please purchase one ticket per household and do not share the link beyond your household – our programs depend on your registration contributions!   \n\n\n\n      \n\n\n\nWe gratefully acknowledge that the land on which we gather and help steward is the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam)\, Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation\, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Since time immemorial\, Coast Salish peoples have lived reciprocally with the land\, harvesting and cultivating foods and medicines and practicing ceremony. The abundance of these lands and waters\, which enables us to live\, work\, and play here today\, is a result of the past and on-going stewardship and advocacy of the Coast Salish peoples.
