If you don’t want to\, choose “Other” in the drop-down menu and then enter $0. \n\n\n\n  \n    \n  \n\n\n\n\nIN-PERSON WORKSHOP \n\n\n\nHealing skin salves made with beeswax and medicinal plants infused into sunflower oils can soothe\, repair\, heal\, disinfect our wounds\, cuts\, scrapes\, chapped\, itchy and dry skin.  Who is growing around us\, and even what we may grow in our own gardens can help keep us strong and healthy. Lori Snyder\, a Metis Herbalist\, will share recipes and resources as she demonstrates how to prepare and use your own beeswax healing skin salves for family and friends.  \n\n\n\n   \n\n\n\nLEADER BIO  \n\n\n\nLori stewards a medicine wheel garden at the Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre. She is currently working with the David Suzuki Foundation as a Butterfly Ranger and consulting with both the foundation and the YWCA at Evelyn Crabtree on native plants and their importance in our ecological relationship with other living beings. She is the Artist in Residence at Hastings Community Centre for 2021\, offering the teachings of plant wisdom through various art mediums.     \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPROGRAM DETAILS       \n\n\n\nAccessibility notes: This program is located in our office on the second floor of the Stanley Park Pavilion\, which is currently only accessible by stairs. If you have any questions about accessibility\, please email Anna at publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca      \n\n\n\n      \n\n\n\nThis program will be held at the SPES office in the Stanley Park Dining Pavilion on the second floor (located between the Stanley Park Rose Garden and the Bus Loop). Please arrive 5 minutes early to sign in (1) (2) (3) (4) (5)       \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Terms and conditions    \n\n\n\n(1) Registration required – NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED.  Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – you choose what you pay!   \n\n\n\n      \n\n\n\n(2) Weather dependent - Please check your email 12 hours before the program date and time to confirm it has not been cancelled due to inclement weather such as high winds\, heavy rain\, or extreme heat.    \n\n\n\n          \n\n\n\n(3) Program Availability – Program full or you cannot attend this day or time?  Sign up here to be notified when the program runs in the future.   \n\n\n\n    \n\n\n\n(4) Cancellation policy – We refund cancellations due to illness to keep everyone healthy\, but the number of recent cancellations is impacting our capacity to run these programs. If you must cancel\, please let us know if you need a refund or if you are able to help us offer affordable programs for the public by donating your registration fee.
