If you don’t want to\, choose “Other” in the drop-down menu and then enter $0. \n\n\n\n  \n    \n  \n\n\n\n\nIN-PERSON PROGRAM \n\n\n\nLet’s take it back millions of years before dinosaurs\, while exploring right here in Stanley Park. As we traverse the trails and take in the beauty our natural neighbours\, we will discover that we walk among plants that evolved 200-400+ million years ago and yet remain growing around us almost unchanged! Join SPES Educator Julia Taylor on a light-hearted travel through time along the evolutionary track of plants and “living fossils” such as the dawn redwood\, horsetails\, and gingko trees.  \n\n\n\nPROGRAM DETAILS \n\n\n\nAccessibility notes: This program will move at a gentle-moderate pace with moderate inclines on some uneven surfaces\, on paths\, gravel\, and possibly dirt trails close to the Pavilion and Aquarium. If you have any questions or input about accessibility\, please email publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca      \n\n\n\nThis program will meet at the #19 bus loop (located near Stanley Park Pavilion) and finish at the Pavilion. \n\n\n\nTerms and Conditions \n\n\n\n(1) Registration required - NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED.  Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – reduced fees are available for those with financial barriers.  \n\n\n\n(2)  Cancellation policy  – We offer partial refunds for program fees up to 7 days before the program. A 20% administration fee applies. Cancellations with less than the required notice are non-refundable. We do not refund fees for late or missed programs. Please request a refund by emailing publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca. You may also choose to support our public education programming by donating your registration fee.  \n\n\n\n(3) Weather – Our tours typically run rain or shine. Rarely\, programs may be postponed or cancelled due extreme weather like high winds or extreme heat.  We will alert you by email if the program needs to be rescheduled. If the program cannot be rescheduled\, refunds will be offered with a 20% administration fee or you may choose to transfer your ticket to another program of the same value.   \n\n\n\n(4) Program Availability – Program full or you cannot attend this day or time?   Sign up here to be notified when the program runs in the future. We also have a monthly events newsletter that you can subscribe to here. \n\n\n\n            \n\n\n\nThe land on which we gather is the traditional\, ancestral\, and unceded territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm)\, Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh)\, and Tsleil-Waututh (səlilwətaɬ) Peoples. Their stewardship and respect for this land has carried forward for thousands of years long before settlers named it “Stanley Park”.
