If you don’t want to\, choose “Other” in the drop-down menu and then enter $0. \n\n\n\n  \n    \n  \n\n\n\n\nIN-PERSON WORKSHOP \n\n\n\nJoin us for a bright\, beginner-friendly watercolour workshop this spring for the Greater Vancouver Bird Celebration! Our instructor\, Jenna Leith\, will introduce a few basic watercolour techniques\, guiding you as you bring feathers\, bird habitat\, and natural elements to life on paper. No prior experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm and creativity! All materials are provided\, and you’ll leave with a few special pieces to share or keep. Spaces are limited\, so reserve yours soon! This event is part of the Greater Vancouver Bird Celebration! \n\n\n\nABOUT THE GREATER VANCOUVER BIRD CELEBRATION  \n\n\n\nGet more familiar with the birds around us during the Greater Vancouver Bird Celebration! Organized by a collection of non-profits\, artists\, and other institutions\, the Celebration is a two-week series of events to appreciate the bird species of Greater Vancouver. Events are open to all and most are free\, with programs including bird-related workshops\, walks\, talks\, exhibitions\, and lectures. Check out all the events here: https://vancouverbirdcelebration.ca/   \n\n\n\nPROGRAM DETAILS \n\n\n\nAccessibility notes: This program will take place indoors while seated on the second floor which is unfortunately only accessible by stairs. If you have any questions or input about accessibility\, please email publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca     \n\n\n\nThis program will take place at the Stanley Park Pavilion at the Stanley Park Ecology Society office (610 Pipeline Rd) on the second floor in the Salmonberry Room. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to check-in. \n\n\n\nTerms and Conditions \n\n\n\n(1) Registration required - NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED.  Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – reduced fees are available for those with financial barriers.  \n\n\n\n(2)  Cancellation policy  – We offer partial refunds for program fees up to 14 days before the program. A 20% administration fee applies. Cancellations with less than the required notice are non-refundable. We do not refund fees for late or missed programs. Please request a refund by emailing publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca. You may also choose to support our public education programming by donating your registration fee.  \n\n\n\n(3) Weather – Rarely\, programs may be postponed or cancelled due extreme weather like high winds or extreme heat.  We will alert you by email if the program needs to be rescheduled. If the program cannot be rescheduled\, refunds will be offered with a 20% administration fee or you may choose to transfer your ticket to another program of the same value.   \n\n\n\n(4) Program Availability – Program full or you cannot attend this day or time?   Sign up here to be notified when the program runs in the future. We also have a monthly events newsletter that you can subscribe to here. \n\n\n\nThe land on which we gather is the traditional\, ancestral\, and unceded territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm)\, Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh)\, and Tsleil-Waututh (səlilwətaɬ) Peoples. Their stewardship and respect for this land has carried forward for thousands of years long before settlers named it “Stanley Park”.
