IN-PERSON WALK
From the forest floor to the tallest tree, mosses of impressive diversity cover our local forest ecosystems. Take a relaxed and introductory look at these brilliant bryophytes with moss specialist Dr. Terry McIntosh – someone who loves sharing his expertise with those keen to learn more about marvelous moss. Come on out and join us in the Park, borrow one of our hand lenses, and get up close and personal with this ancient plant group!
This program will meet at the Stanley Park Rose Garden, under the white archways (right along Pipeline Road). We will be visiting South Creek Trail. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the program.
Masks are currently mandatory for BOTH indoor and outdoor programs. If you are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons, please inform Anna at publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca.
