November 24, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join SPES Environmental Educator Justine Kaseman to learn about the marvelous marine mammals we have right off the coast of BC!  Justine has first-hand experience working with marine mammals, and will share her passion for these creatures, as well as lots of photos, while highlighting the adaptations that enable them to thrive in their watery environments.  Don’t miss this chance to learn about sea lions, sea otters, dolphins, orcas and more, with special attention given to the marine mammals that can be found around Stanley Park!

*Tickets must be purchased in advance. Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – you choose what you pay!  Your contributions help us bring you more online programs like this one!

We gratefully acknowledge that the land on which we gather and help steward is the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Since time immemorial, Coast Salish peoples have lived reciprocally with the land, harvesting and cultivating foods and medicines and practicing ceremony. The abundance of these lands and waters, which enables us to live, work, and play here today, is a result of the past and on-going stewardship and advocacy of the Coast Salish peoples.
