Many people capture the beauty of birds through photography\, and sharing inspiring and intimate moments with these winged creatures is powerful! If you’ve always wanted to try bird photography\, but don’t know where to start\, join Kris Cu (Birds Canada)\, a nature lover and photographer\, for a beginner-friendly webinar on bird photography! Learn about the exposure triangle and how to use manual mode confidently. We will also cover wildlife photography ethics\, camera gear recommendations and more. Just in time to get your camera ready to make the most of Vancouver Bird Celebration 2022 that’s happening for the rest of the month!   \n\n\n\nLEADER BIO  \n\n\n\nKris Cu is a biological sciences graduate from SFU and is passionate about biodiversity conservation\, sustainability and science communication. He currently works for Birds Canada as the Conservation Engagement and Outreach Worker. In his spare time\, Kris leads bird walks and enjoys photographing the incredible wildlife around Vancouver. Only one ticket required per household.      \n\n\n\n      \n\n\n\nWe gratefully acknowledge that the land on which we gather and help steward is the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam)\, Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation\, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Since time immemorial\, Coast Salish peoples have lived reciprocally with the land\, harvesting and cultivating foods and medicines and practicing ceremony. The abundance of these lands and waters\, which enables us to live\, work\, and play here today\, is a result of the past and on-going stewardship and advocacy of the Coast Salish peoples.
