Through photos and calls\, you will learn about the owls that frequent Stanley Park\, the sounds they make\, and what they look like. Join us during this online avian evening where we’ll explore what owls eat\, how they hunt\, and their ecological importance as predators in our local ecosystems. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPROGRAM DETAILS \n\n\n\n*Tickets must be purchased in advance. Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – you choose what you pay! Your contributions help us bring you more online programs like this one! Ticket sales close 30 minutes before the start of the program.   \n\n\n\n**This program will take place on Zoom\, so please make sure you have Zoom downloaded well in advance of the webinar. A Zoom link can be found within your confirmation email and will also be sent the day before the start of the program. Only one ticket required per household. \n\n\n\n*** Cancellation policy  – We offer partial refunds for program fees up to 7 days before the program. A 20% administration fee applies. Cancellations with less than the required notice are non-refundable. We do not refund fees for late or missed programs. Please request a refund by emailing publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca. You may also choose to support our public education programming by donating your registration fee.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe land on which we gather is the traditional\, ancestral\, and unceded territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm)\, Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh)\, and Tsleil-Waututh (səlilwətaɬ) Peoples. Their stewardship and respect for this land has carried forward for thousands of years long before settlers named it “Stanley Park”.
