IN-PERSON WORKSHOP

Try your hand at the art of fused glass! In this beginner-friendly art workshop led by local glass artist Debbie Hungle, participants will get to create a nature-inspired glass design using cut pieces of glass and mosaic techniques. Choose from a wide selection of bases — from birds to insects to plants and more — to create your ornament, coaster, paperweight, or glass display piece.

The glass pieces will be taken to be fired in the kiln, and participants can expect to collect their finished pieces starting about a week after the workshop.

Recommended for ages 10+ (with supervision) and adults.

The land on which we gather is the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh), and Tsleil-Waututh (səlilwətaɬ) Peoples. Their stewardship and respect for this land has carried forward for thousands of years long before settlers named it “Stanley Park”.
