SUMMARY:Get to Know a Trail: South Creek Trail
DESCRIPTION:Get Tickets\n Problems using the ticket form below? You can also get tickets here. \n SPES uses the Zeffy platform to process payments\, so your entire purchase goes to us. If you’d like to help Zeffy keep running its services\, you can choose to tip them. If you don’t want to\, choose “Other” in the drop-down menu and then enter $0. \n\n\n\n \n \n \n\n\n\n\nIN-PERSON PROGRAM \n\n\n\nHow well do you know the trails of Stanley Park? From the edges of the city\, to a foggy morning on Beaver Lake\, to the owls that sweep the forested trails of the Park – every season brings something new to encounter across diverse habitats. Join SPES Educator Julia Taylor in this month’s installment of “Get to Know a Trail”\, where we explore the joys of trails across Stanley Park. This month\, we check out short and sweet South Creek Trail and the interesting wildlife that frequent it.  \n\n\n\nPROGRAM DETAILS \n\n\n\nAccessibility notes:  This program requires moving at a moderate pace with moderate inclines on some uneven surfaces\, on sidewalks and paths from the Stanley Park Rose Garden to Beaver Lake. If you have any questions or input about accessibility\, please email publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca           \n\n\n\nThis program will meet at the Stanley Park Shakespeare Garden\, under the white arches (located on the west side of Pipeline Road\, close to the Stanley Park Pavilion). Click here to see the exact location. (1) (2) (3) (4) \n\n\n\nTerms and Conditions \n\n\n\n(1) Registration required - NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED.  Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – you choose what you pay!        \n\n\n\n(2) Weather dependent - Please check your email 12 hours before the program date and time to confirm it has not been cancelled due to inclement weather such as high winds\, heavy rain\, or extreme heat.       \n\n\n\n(3) Program Availability – Program full or you cannot attend this day or time?   Sign up here to be notified when the program runs in the future.         \n\n\n\n(4) Cancellation policy – We refund cancellations due to illness to keep everyone healthy\, but the number of recent cancellations is impacting our capacity to run these programs. If you must cancel\, please let us know if you need a refund or if you are able to help us offer affordable programs for the public by donating your registration fee. (This is one way we can all subsidize programs in this changing economic climate and ensure these programs are available on a sliding scale.)   \n\n\n\n            \n\n\n\nWe gratefully acknowledge that the land on which we gather and help steward is the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam)\, Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation\, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Since time immemorial\, Coast Salish peoples have lived reciprocally with the land\, harvesting and cultivating foods and medicines and practicing ceremony. The abundance of these lands and waters\, which enables us to live\, work\, and play here today\, is a result of the past and on-going stewardship and advocacy of the Coast Salish peoples.
