If you don’t want to\, choose “Other” in the drop-down menu and then enter $0. \n\n\n\n  \n    \n  \n\n\n\n\nIN-PERSON PROGRAM \n\n\n\nIn the cold season\, ducks dominate our coastal waters — and our hearts! Join us to channel this seabird admiration into a crafty creation and needle felt a stunning surf scoter! By taking wool\, a needle\, and a bit of patience\, needle felting can create any toy or sculpture that you can imagine. So bring a friend\, have some tea\, and learn a new craft. Note: felting needles are very sharp\, this program is intended for ages 12+. Price includes felting wool for the project\, a felting pad\, a needle\, and a finger protector.  \n\n\n\nTicket sales will close at 11:00 am on Wednesday\, December 4th. \n\n\n\nLEADER BIO \n\n\n\nAnna Bondartchouk (she/they) has been a hobbyist needle-felter since 2021. She has been fascinated by making toys since childhood and all the sensory joys that come with making unique creations. Anna combines her love for the chaotic art of needle felting with her background in ecological studies to make novel toys and talking points to share with as many people as possible! You can find more of their felting creations on Instagram @bluepuppyfelting \n\n\n\nPROGRAM DETAILS \n\n\n\nAccessibility notes: This program is located in our office on the second floor of the Stanley Park Pavilion\, which is currently only accessible by stairs. If you have any questions about accessibility\, please email Julia at publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca        \n\n\n\nThis program will be held at the SPES office in the Stanley Park Dining Pavilion on the second floor (located between the Stanley Park Rose Garden and the Bus Loop).   \n\n\n\nTerms and Conditions \n\n\n\n(1) Registration required - NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED.  Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – reduced fees are available for those with financial barriers.  \n\n\n\n(2)  Cancellation policy  – We offer partial refunds for program fees up to 14 days before the program. A 20% administration fee applies. Cancellations with less than the required notice are non-refundable. We do not refund fees for late or missed programs. Please request a refund by emailing publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca. You may also choose to support our public education programming by donating your registration fee.  \n\n\n\n(3) Weather – Rarely\, programs may be postponed or cancelled due extreme weather like high winds that make it dangerous to enter the Park.  We will alert you by email if the program needs to be rescheduled. If the program cannot be rescheduled\, refunds will be offered with a 20% administration fee or you may choose to transfer your ticket to another program of the same value.   \n\n\n\n(4) Program Availability – Program full or you cannot attend this day or time?   Sign up here to be notified when the program runs in the future. We also have a monthly events newsletter that you can subscribe to here. \n\n\n\n            \n\n\n\nThe land on which we gather is the traditional\, ancestral\, and unceded territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm)\, Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh)\, and Tsleil-Waututh (səlilwətaɬ) Peoples. Their stewardship and respect for this land has carried forward for thousands of years long before settlers named it “Stanley Park”.
