DESCRIPTION:Get Tickets\n Problems using the ticket form below? You can also get tickets here. \n SPES uses the Zeffy platform to process payments\, so your entire purchase goes to us. If you’d like to help Zeffy keep running its services\, you can choose to tip them. If you don’t want to\, choose “Other” in the drop-down menu and then enter $0. \n\n\n\n \n \n \n\n\n\n\nIN-PERSON PROGRAM \n\n\n\nEvery ecosystem is affected by the global climate and biodiversity crises\, and the forests\, wetlands\, and beaches of Stanley Park are no different. Join us at Stanley Park Ecology Society with Solastalgia for a walk through the diverse habitats of the Park to learn about their plant and wildlife residents and their future in a changing world. The walk will be followed by an eco-themed art workshop using natural and abiotic materials for an eco-collage\, with refreshments for lunch provided in-between (gluten-free and vegan options available). \n\n\n\nPROGRAM DETAILS \n\n\n\nAccessibility notes: This walk will require moving at a moderate pace on some uneven surfaces like gravel and dirt trails. The art workshop is located on the second floor of the Stanley Park Pavilion\, which unfortunately is only accessible by stairs right now. If you have any questions please email Julia at publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca \n\n\n\nThis program will meet at the bus loop by the Stanley Park Pavilion (NOT the “Historical Bus Loop”) and proceed to South Creek Trail and Beaver Lake. The workshop will take place at the Stanley Park Pavilion. Please arrive 5 minutes early to sign in.   (1) (2) (3) \n\n\n\nTerms and Conditions \n\n\n\n(1) Registration required - NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED.  This is a free program!        \n\n\n\n(2) Weather dependent - Please check your email 12 hours before the program date and time to confirm it has not been cancelled due to inclement weather such as high winds\, heavy rain\, or extreme heat.       \n\n\n\n(3) Program Availability – Program full or you cannot attend this day or time?   Sign up here to be notified when the program runs in the future.         \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWe gratefully acknowledge that the land on which we gather and help steward is the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam)\, Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation\, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Since time immemorial\, Coast Salish peoples have lived reciprocally with the land\, harvesting and cultivating foods and medicines and practicing ceremony. The abundance of these lands and waters\, which enables us to live\, work\, and play here today\, is a result of the past and on-going stewardship and advocacy of the Coast Salish peoples.
