Join SPES Environmental Educator Anna Bondartchouk on a special night outing and learn about nocturnal animal nightlife! We’ll discuss how owls\, bats\, and flying squirrels (and more!) adapt to living in the cover of darkness… and if we look closely\, we might just see a few ourselves. From hunting to hiding\, nighttime is a busy time for wildlife of the Pacific Northwest! Our group will be creeping through Lost Lagoon\, so bring a flashlight and a brave soul…  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nLooking for a family program? Check out “What Goes Bump in the Night” for nocturnal animal fun for parents with kids ages 4 to 8!  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nCan’t make this session? Check out our session on October 14! \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPROGRAM DETAILS      \n\n\n\nAccessibility notes: This program requires moving at a moderate pace with moderate inclines on some uneven surfaces around Lost Lagoon (such as gravel and pavement) for up to 1.5 hours. This program will be in low light conditions. If you have any questions about accessibility\, please email Anna at publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca     \n\n\n\n     \n\n\n\nThis program will meet at the Nature House on Lost Lagoon (located near the intersection of Alberni and Chilco Street\, underneath the viewing platform) and proceed to Cathedral Trail. Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete a health check.   (1) (2) (3) (4)    \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n Terms and conditions    \n\n\n\n   \n\n\n\n(1) Registration required – NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED.  Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – you choose what you pay!   \n\n\n\n      \n\n\n\n(2) Weather dependent – Please check your email 12 hours before the program date and time to confirm it has not been cancelled due to inclement weather such as high winds\, heavy rain\, or extreme heat.    \n\n\n\n          \n\n\n\n(3) Program Availability – Program full or you cannot attend this day or time?  Sign up here to be notified when the program runs in the future.   \n\n\n\n    \n\n\n\n(4) Cancellation policy – We refund cancellations due to illness to keep everyone healthy\, but the number of recent cancellations is impacting our capacity to run these programs. If you must cancel\, please let us know if you need a refund or if you are able to help us offer affordable programs for the public by donating your registration fee.
