IN-PERSON WALK   

Do birds ever curl up inside on a cold day and read a good book? No, they’re out there adapting to freezing temperatures through magnificent physiological and behavioral strategies! Join us as we take our monthly walk to see and learn about any bird that crosses our path. This month, biologist Dr. Kim Dohms will highlight some year-round resident species that stay fluttering and fantastic all winter. 

  

This program will meet at the Nature House on Lost Lagoon (located underneath the Lost Lagoon viewing platform near the intersection of Alberni and Chilco Streets).  Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the program.

**All participants must pre-register for this program – NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED.  Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – you choose what you pay!
