If you don’t want to\, choose “Other” in the drop-down menu and then enter $0. \n\n\n\n  \n    \n  \n\n\n\n\nIN-PERSON PROGRAM     \n\n\n\nHave you ever been curious about the silhouette of a bird of prey in the sky\, or a songbird you see everyday through your window? Come out for our monthly birding program\, Birds of a Feather! Join a local birder as they take you on a relaxed\, interpretive outing to spot seasonal bird species and learn about their lives. This month\, photographer and SPES Nature House Educator Frank Lin will share his passion of being outside and looking for birds.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nABOUT PROGRAM LEADER  \n\n\n\nFrank Lin is a long time SPES volunteer\, photographer\, program leader\, and more recently the full-time Nature House Educator. When he’s not leading monthly bird surveys\, birding programs\, or engaging with thousands of visitors at the Nature House on Lost Lagoon\, he is exploring and capturing the world of birds through a lens. You can follow Frank on Instagram for incredible shots and fascinating information on local bird species (@fylegend21).  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPROGRAM DETAILS     \n\n\n\nAccessibility note: This program requires moving at a moderate pace with moderate inclines on some uneven surfaces around Lost Lagoon (such as gravel and pavement) for up to 1.5 hours. If you have any questions about accessibility\, please email Anna at publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca    \n\n\n\n    \n\n\n\nThis program will meet at the Nature House on Lost Lagoon (located near the intersection of Alberni and Chilco Street\, underneath the viewing platform) and proceed to Cathedral Trail. Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete a health check.   (1) (2) (3) (4) (5)    \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nTerms and conditions    \n\n\n\n    \n\n\n\n(1) COVID-19 protocols – By purchasing a ticket\, you are confirming you agree to filling out this health check on the day of your program.    \n\n\n\n      \n\n\n\n(2) Registration required – NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED.  Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – you choose what you pay!   \n\n\n\n      \n\n\n\n(3) Weather dependent – Please check your email 12 hours before the program date and time to confirm it has not been cancelled due to inclement weather such as high winds\, heavy rain\, or extreme heat.    \n\n\n\n          \n\n\n\n(4) Program Availability – Program full or you cannot attend this day or time?  Sign up here to be notified when the program runs in the future.   \n\n\n\n    \n\n\n\n(5) Cancellation policy – We refund cancellations due to illness to keep everyone healthy\, but the number of recent cancellations is impacting our capacity to run these programs. If you must cancel\, please let us know if you need a refund or if you are able to help us offer affordable programs for the public by donating your registration fee.
