SUMMARY:Birding with Me: Welcoming the BIPOC Community
DESCRIPTION:Register on Eventbrite\n\n\nWALK\n\n\n\nLed by birder and lead of the BC Rare Bird Alert website\, Melissa Hafting\, this walk will introduce you to the birds found at Stanley Park. See birds like Chestnut-backed chickadees\, Anna’s hummingbirds\, and Wilson’s warblers while meeting new people and sharing in the outdoors. \n\n\n\nThis program will meet at the #19 Bus Loop in Stanley Park before moving to Beaver Lake. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the program. \n\n\n\nCheck out the Birding with Me series webpage to see all the events! \n\n\n\nBirding with Me is a part of the Vancouver Bird Celebration and organized collaboratively by Stanley Park Ecology Society\, Canadian Wildlife Service\, Birds Canada\, and the BC Bird Trail. Thank you so much to the Port of Vancouver for funding this series. \n\n\n\nThis program will follow approved COVID protocols\, and attendees must respect these protocols to participate in the program. All participants must pre-register. To make everyone comfortable\, we will encourage distancing and will be keeping numbers low to accommodate this. \n\n\n\n*By purchasing a ticket\, you are confirming you have read\, understood\, and agree to follow all COVID-19 protocols found here.
