October 6, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm

| Free

Many of us have been captivated by the world of birds that is so easily accessible from our windows, local parks, and neighbourhoods, especially in the past few months. This discussion will look at what it means to be a responsible bird lover and how to support bird conservation. Speakers will explore topics including ethics in bird photography, how to plant for greater bird biodiversity, and how we can use simple designs to prevent birds from striking windows. At the end, you’ll have a chance to pose your burning bird questions for the panel. Stay tuned for a list of speakers!

*Tickets must be reserved in advance.

**This program will take place on Zoom, so please make sure you have Zoom downloaded well in advance of the webinar.  A Zoom link can be found within your confirmation email, and will also be sent out one hour before the start of the program. Only one ticket required per household.

We gratefully acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Since time immemorial, Coast Salish people have lived reciprocally with the land, harvesting foods and medicines and practicing ceremony. The abundance offered by these lands and waters which enables us to live, work and play here today, is a result of the past and on-going stewardship practices and perspectives of the Coast Salish people.
