DESCRIPTION:IN-PERSON PROGRAM  \n\n\n\nJoin us for a bird count at Lost Lagoon where\, with your help\, we will try to count as many species as possible in the same area. Brochures and fun activities will be available\, and you will also have the chance to win a pair of binoculars! Register with Kris by email: krisc@birdscanada.org. \n\n\n\nThis event is free as part of the Greater Vancouver Bird Celebration! \n\n\n\nABOUT THE GREATER VANCOUVER BIRD CELEBRATION  \n\n\n\nGet more familiar with the birds around us during the Greater Vancouver Bird Celebration! Organized by a collection of non-profits\, artists\, and other institutions\, the Celebration is a two-week series of events to appreciate the bird species of Greater Vancouver. Events are open to all and most are free\, with programs including bird-related workshops\, walks\, talks\, exhibitions\, and lectures. The Nature House is accessible by stairs or by a gravel pathway. There is a washroom at the Nature House and in a nearby facility. If you have any questions about accessibility\, please email publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca      \n\n\n\nThis program will meet at the Nature House on Lost Lagoon (located near the intersection of Alberni and Chilco Street\, underneath the viewing platform).
