If you don’t want to\, choose “Other” in the drop-down menu and then enter $0. \n\n\n\n  \n    \n  \n\n\n\n\nIN-PERSON PROGRAM \n\n\n\nWe know that late summer brings the most abundance of delicious berries for humans and animals alike\, but have you ever wondered about berries that grow in the colder months? Join SPES Educator Julia Taylor to learn how to identify colder season berries like snowberries\, mountain ash\, and holly. Find out how animals forage on these winter food sources and why “yew” should shy away from the colourful red “berries” of the western yew tree! There will be no harvesting permitted during this program\, as it is prohibited across the Park.  \n\n\n\nPROGRAM DETAILS \n\n\n\nAccessibility notes: This program will move at a gentle pace with moderate inclines on some uneven surfaces\, like packed gravel and cracked pavement. If you have any questions or input about accessibility\, please email publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca    \n\n\n\nThis program will meet at the Stanley Park #19 Bus Loop (located near the Stanley Park Pavilion\, NOT the “Historic Bus Loop”). \n\n\n\nTerms and Conditions \n\n\n\n(1) Registration required - NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED.  Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – reduced fees are available for those with financial barriers.  \n\n\n\n(2)  Cancellation policy  – We offer partial refunds for program fees up to 7 days before the program. A 20% administration fee applies. Cancellations with less than the required notice are non-refundable. We do not refund fees for late or missed programs. Please request a refund by emailing publiced@stanleyparkecology.ca. You may also choose to support our public education programming by donating your registration fee.  \n\n\n\n(3) Weather – Our tours typically run rain or shine. Rarely\, programs may be postponed or cancelled due extreme weather like high winds or extreme heat.  We will alert you by email if the program needs to be rescheduled. If the program cannot be rescheduled\, refunds will be offered with a 20% administration fee or you may choose to transfer your ticket to another program of the same value.   \n\n\n\n(4) Program Availability – Program full or you cannot attend this day or time?   Sign up here to be notified when the program runs in the future. We also have a monthly events newsletter that you can subscribe to here. \n\n\n\n            \n\n\n\nThe land on which we gather is the traditional\, ancestral\, and unceded territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm)\, Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh)\, and Tsleil-Waututh (səlilwətaɬ) Peoples. Their stewardship and respect for this land has carried forward for thousands of years long before settlers named it “Stanley Park”.
