Bringing Stanley Park to you!

Green Space Programs

Although we offer outdoor field trips year-round, we understand that due to COVID-19, transportation may be a barrier to getting your students outside. Our knowledgeable SPES educators will bring props to green spaces near your school and engage your students in an immersive outdoor experience. It will also serve as a guide for teachers to activate your school grounds for outdoor learning. This is for city parks or school yards, not regional parks.

A limited number of these programs will be available depending on staff capacity and distance from Stanley Park, please inquire to find out more. Contact or 604-257-6908 (ext. 103).

COVID-19 Note: Please check with your school administration on their policy about working with external educators in an outdoors context for the month you book. Also note, these policies may change to be more or less restrictive over time, and we understand this. We have a 100% refund cancellation policy associated with COVID-19 safety requests from your school. Thank you for that consideration and we hope you can join us outdoors!

The following “Programs at Your School” are not currently being offered in the 2021/22 school year due to COVID restrictions.

Classroom-based programs are offered from November to March and are $189/hr for a class up to 25 students, within a 45-minute drive of Stanley Park.

Over the rainier months of the year, when our in-park fieldtrips are a little quieter, our skilled SPES educators can deliver a few select programs right in your classroom.

We use creative storytelling, puppets, games and engaging props to connect students with nature. Environmental learning has never been so much fun!
