Join us on Saturday, April 22nd for a day of earth-friendly action and awareness.
WHERE: Beside the Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant and Brewpub in Stanley Park.
WHEN: Drop by any time between 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
WHAT: We invite you to come spend an Earth Day afternoon with Stanley Park Ecology Society (SPES)! Drop by our Earth Day event to meet our staff, learn about our projects and mission, and join in on the fun yourself. SPES staff will be leading free guided tours exploring the local wildlife and plant species that we help steward, Birds Canada will be leading some relaxing bird watching, and our Schools Programs team will be leading some family-friendly eco games. If you want to help the planet in a hands-on and fun way, roll up your sleeves and join our Stewardship team in removing invasive plants from wildlife habitat. After that, come check out our partner Stanley Park Brewing’s tent and restaurant!
Registration is required to participate in the Eco-Stewards invasive species removal. Please click here for registration details and meeting spot for the Eco-Stewards session on April 22, 2023.
