Vancouver Park Board archaeologist

SPES is pleased to present Geordie Howe, the first full-time staff archaeologist employed by a municipal government in Canada! Geordie supports a variety of current projects on sites of potential archeological significance, including SPES’s habitat restoration work in Stanley Park.

Join Geordie as he describes the careful work undertaken to protect and manage the First Nations’ sites of archaeological importance within
Stanley Park’s borders.
