When summer ends, the throng of tourists retreat from Stanley Park and locals put up their umbrellas to find drier ground. Nature, however, continues its daily drama of life, death and renewal. The Stanley Park Nature House on Lost Lagoon will take you a bit deeper into this drama with storytelling, crafts, and workshops that highlight how nature doesn’t stop, even in the “off” months. These free, family friendly events will take place on weekends from now through May covering themes of freshwater, insects, and birds.
Stay tuned to the SPES event calendar for more information and to register in advance, or come visit the Nature House to register in person.
Many thanks to TD Friends of the Environment Foundation for helping us connect people to nature year-round!
