From bird nerd to bird curious, from wise old owl to adventurous tot, there is an event for everyone during Vancouver Bird Week 2014. Bird Week is a week-long series of events including presentations, workshops, art exhibitions and walks all over Vancouver to celebrate and raise awareness for Vancouver’s birds. Bird Week was inspired by World Migratory Bird Day, a United Nations-sponsored initiative that recognizes the importance of birds as key indicators of our environment’s health. SPES is very proud to be playing a key role in organizing our second annual Bird Week events alongside our partners.
