Come walk with us

If you love Stanley Park and are looking for some new trails to explore, don’t be shy to get a bit of help to find out where to go and what to see.

One of the easiest – and most fun – ways to discover what the Park has to offer, is to come along on one of our naturalist-led Discovery Walks. We’ve got something happening most weekends, including special events for children and young people.

The Park is looking absolutely stunning at the moment, and with the shorter days and cooler temperatures there’s lots of wildlife activity from dawn to dusk. This Sunday (November 18) from 1:45-2:45 pm, we are lucky to have biologist Murray Lashmar lead us on a walk through the Park while he talks about what it takes for animals and plants on the coast to adapt to survive the winter.

Like the rest of our Discovery Walks we start from the Stanley Park Nature House on Lost Lagoon (below the viewing plaza on the corner of Alberni and Chilco).

You can read more about this – and other events – in our events listings: www.stanleyparkecology.ca/events
