Coyote Sightings

Please click on one of the cities in the list to the right to see recent coyote sightings.  Entries listed as a pet attack have been reported to us via firsthand accounts involving a visual pet attack by a coyote.  If you have heard of an attack on a pet or person in your comunity, please have the pet owner contact us.  If you are interested in finding more information about a specific coyote sighting or a coyote pet attack or would like to report your own coyote sighting, please contact us through our hotline or e-mail:

If you are e-mailing regarding a coyote sighting please list the following: -Date - Time - Location (include the nearest cross street) - and what it was doing at the time of the sighting.

New sightings will be updated to the Web site each month.

This coyote was photographed near the intersection of 13th and Yukon Street in Vancouver.  Have you seen a coyote near your house? Let us know; call 604-681-WILD (9453).

Please note that for Greater Vancouver, due to the large number of reports, from now on presentation of these sightings will be in map format, by district, rather than textual.
