Workshop: West Coast Wild Remedies

Craft your own cures with Yuxweluptun’aat (Lauraleigh) of First Nations descent as she guides us through the medicinal qualities and traditional uses of our native plants. If you enjoyed our Indigenous Plant Use tours, further your knowledge with this unique opportunity!

Participants take home their own handmade medicines. Register early as space is limited!

 

Workshop #1: Injuries, indigestion and a singer’s remedy

  • Working with frog leaf – after-bite salve, inflammation tea
  • Harvest and use of licorice root – indigestion tea or effective lozenge for sore throat ailments
