Natural habitats in Stanley Park are being overtaken by invasive species. In this special session we will be in the classroom and in the field learning about the methods of plant species identification. We will be identifying invasive species and native species common to Stanley Park.
By participating in this program, you will learn firsthand about the threat invasive species pose to our native ecosystems, make an important contribution to conservation and restoration in Stanley Park and work with a great group of people in a beautiful outdoor setting.
By learning about the invasive species you will be empowered to become a citizen scientist, reporting invasive species locations for removal.
Advance registration is required as participant spaces are limited.
