Stanley Park Eco-Steward Volunteer Event – 1:00pm Start

March 20, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

| Free

NOTE: Due to popular demand for the morning session an afternoon session has been added for this week.

Natural habitats in Stanley Park are being overtaken by invasive species. Come learn about the ecology of the park while working with other volunteers to help conserve its biodiversity.

By participating in this program, you will learn firsthand about the threat invasive species pose to our native ecosystems, make an important contribution to conservation and restoration in Stanley Park and work with a great group of people in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Together, we will work to restore degraded habitats in the Park by removing invasive plant species such as English ivy and Himalayan blackberry.

Please register as participant spaces are limited.
