Curious Coyotes!

November 24, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

DISCOVERY WALK

The crafty coyote is a relatively new neighbour in the Lower Mainland, and yet it has now truly made Vancouver its home! Young ones aged 6-14 are invited to join our 1-hour guided walk to explore coyote behaviour, habitat, and coexistence in the woods of Stanley Park.

What kind of sounds do coyotes make? What kind of smells do they love to investigate? How do they hunt for food? And how can people, pets, and coyotes coexist harmoniously? Find these out and more, and stick around for the book launch of “Street Shadows—a young adult novel about city coyotes—in the Nature House from 2:00-3:30 p.m.!
