Meet the birds of Stanley Park in a stunning new photography display at the Stanley Park Nature House on Lost Lagoon. Skilled photographer and birder Frank Lin captures both the prominent and elusive birds of our region in this photography series. Stop by on Saturday afternoon from 1:00-4:00pm to chat with the photographer himself! Learn why the Virginia rail is so hard to spot and where the Bald eagles nest in the Park.
This is a free event!
We gratefully acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the unceded and traditional territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Since time immemorial, Coast Salish people have lived reciprocally with the land, harvesting foods and medicines and practicing ceremony. The abundance offered by these lands and waters which enables us to live, work and play here today, is a result of the past and on-going stewardship practices and perspectives of the Coast Salish people.
