Migrating song birds are drawn to the forest edges and gardens near Lost Lagoon. These places provide the much needed food and habitat for these birds on the move. The broad-leaved maple flowers, which reach their peak in late April, offer a ready supply of nectar-feeding insects for the hungry birds. Join us to look and listen for the calls of Yellow-rumped and Wilson’s warblers, chickadees and kinglets.
