Migrating song birds are drawn to the forest edges and gardens near Lost Lagoon. These places provide the much needed food and habitat for these birds on the move. On a sunny morning, look and listen for Yellow-rumped and Willson’s warblers, chickadees and kinglets. Broad-leaved maple flowers, which reach their peak in late April, offer a ready supply of insects for the hungry birds.
