Join the team that know Stanley Park like the back of their… shovels! The Special Invasive Removal Team are dedicated volunteers who complete important year-round invasive plant removal work in special areas of the Park. As a SIRT member, you will:
- Learn about local ecology and the important role of invasive plant management and stewardship in Stanley Park
- Be an active environmental steward in one of Canada’s most beautiful parks
- Contribute directly to long-term invasive plant management projects
- Grow your skills and meet other like minded volunteers in your community!

This program typically runs every Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., and all volunteers 16 and older are welcome to join. Eager volunteers younger than 16 and groups larger than 5 people will need permission from the program leader.
